J K Buckenham Limited staff and clients have now transferred to Howden Insurance Brokers Limited (HIB). Existing business is now being serviced by HIB and JKB along with its legacy book is now in run off.

Recent Business

From 1 October 2006 J K Buckenham Limited (JKB) adopted a new Central Settlement Number: JKB / 1134. All business placed under this number after 1 October 2006 has been transferred to Howden Insurance Brokers Limited and the pseudonym has changed from JKB to HSG for this Central Settlement Number (CSN).

If you have a query on a slip or transaction with the CSN JKB / 1134 or HSG / 1134, please refer all enquiries to your usual JKB contact who can be contacted at Howden Insurance Brokers. If you are concerned about other JKB brands, such as Weather Direct, all active business has also been transferred to HIB.

All JKB employees have now transferred to HIB. Both the old JKB telephone number 0207 337 1600 and direct dial (DDI) numbers can still be used to call your existing contacts during business hours (09:30 – 17:30, Monday to Friday). Former JKB email addresses will continue to be routed to former JKB employees now working for HIB.

Older Business

The Directors of J K Buckenham Limited (JKB / 796) have requested that Lloyd’s remove its name from the Register of Lloyd’s Brokers with effect from 1st October, 2007.

J K Buckenham Limited will continue to service existing commitments and accordingly has been appointed as an Approved Run-Off Broker but only in respect of business originally placed by it when J K Buckenham Limited was a Lloyd’s Broker prior to 30 September 2006. All enquiries for transactions after that date should be referred to your usual contact as detailed above.
